The San Diego Chargers added a number of undrafted free agents including 20 players who fell through spaces of last year's Madden NFL 23 Draft to join the squad in hopes of being on the roster.
The position in which the Chargers have the most prospects is the defensive back, adding four prospects: Marcus Cromartie, a speedster who was able to run 4.35 40 at 4.35 40 during Wisconsin's pro day, Purdue's Josh Johnson, Central Michigan's Jaheel Addae and Wake Forest's Kenny Okoro.
But the nose tackle is the position at which it is where the Chargers have the best chance to get someone who is able to stay. With only one player, Cam Thomas, listed as defensive tackle on the roster of the team, San Diego is strapped for runners who could cause havoc in the middle of their defense in a 3-4. They picked up two players capable of providing depth, or even pushing for the starting spot at the position. The most prominent one is Georgia's Kwame Geathers.
He's 6'5 342-pounder who was concealed from view by John Jenkins in college and amazed many by coming out the door a year early. However, he's got a huge frame and Madden NFL 23 genetics. Robert, his brother Robert was a part of the Madden NFL 23 for a pretty long time. They also add Byron Jerideau from South Carolina and is smaller at just 6'1 and 312 pounds, however, the South Carolina native makes up for his diminution in size by his power. He's capable of benching 500 pounds and squatting up to 670.

This is a terrible idea and a reminder of just how arbitrary and, more importantly, how reactionary the system of discipline for players in the league really is. With Goodell acting as an arbiter, I believe he will accept Brady's suspension of four games which will then send the fight to the courts where the Madden NFL 23 could almost certainly lose, again.
